GF Apple Crumble

Ingredients

Filling
8 x Granny Smith Apples
1 tbsn Cinnamon
 2 tbsn castor sugar

Crumble
4 tbsn Almond Meal
5 tbsn Rice Flour
4 tbsn brown sugar
50g butter

Method

1. Peel, core and slice the apple into wedges
2. Boil in a big pot of hot water with the cinnamon and castor sugar for about 20 minutes or until the apple is soft.
3. Sieve the apple to drain most of the water
4. Place in a baking dish
5. In a separate bowl put the almond meal, rice flour, brown sugar and mix
6. Put in the butter and rub between fingers to create a crumble texture.  Adjust the ingredients to taste and desired texture.
7. Bake 200°C for 20 minutes or until the top is brown.
