Xmas Ham Glaze

Ingredients
2/3 cup runny honey
1/2 cup crystallised ginger (chopped coarsely)
1/2 cup firmly packed soft brown sugar
1/4 cup of water
Whole cloves to decorate
Method
Preheat oven 180c cut off rind, score across the fat 3cm intervals, making a diamond pattern. Do not cut too deeply into the fat as it will spread apart during cooking. Decorate with whole cloves.
Glaze
Put all ingredients into pot stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved, put into a whiz until all is blended.
Put ham onto a metal rack, add 2 cup of water to the baking dish.
Brush glaze over the ham and bake at 180 degrees for 1 1/2 hours brushing with glaze occasionally during cooking.
Note: You can put the ham skin over the ham during cooking to stop it drying out.
