Josh Emett's Quick Chilli Oil Noodles

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp Spring Onions, sliced

2 Tbsp Corriander, chopped

1 thumb Ginger, minced

1 Clove Garlic, minced

Chilli Flakes (to taste)

2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1 Tbsp Rice Bran Oil

1 Handful cooked Vermicelli noodles

Method:

Place all ingredients except oil and noodles in a medium sized, heat resistant bowl.  

Add the oil in a small pot, bring up to almost smoking then pour over the ingredients in the bowl.

Blanch noddles and place in bowl.

Toss everything together.

Can serve with Maple Pork:

Cook a chunk of pork (e.g. a fillet) and finish with a drizzle of maple syrup so it coats it and caramelises.
